Everybody wants to be healthy and happy. But how can one achieve harmony and become successful, how can one understand the causes of misfortunes and break the vicious cycle of problems, how can one establish positive relations with their loved ones and help others to become healthy and happy? All spiritual practices provide tools designed to help people solve everyday problems. Moreover, psychologists, psychoanalysts, doctors, and religious figures devote their attention to these areas.

Science and religion divided man into two separate parts: that of flesh and that of soul. Science teaches materialism, concentrating only on physical matter, while religion deals with spiritual matters. But how can one find the "golden mean," avoid getting caught up in these extremes, how can one learn to live in harmony with oneself and the world? It is important to understand that man is metaphorically a synthesis of God and of beast, that humans are composed of both spiritual and physical matter. Finding the underlying unity that exists within the appearance of duality is one of the principle quests of world philosophy.

A satisfying solution can be found within the theory and practice of the methods of Cosmic Energetics. One of the essential premises underlying Cosmic Energetics is that man is a godlike entity, which takes the shape of matter, with the aim of realizing a new evolutionary phase.

The laws of reincarnations and karma, which can be found in many forms of religious scriptures and spiritual practices, serve as the foundation of the method, and if the disciple is unfamiliar with these subjects then the content of the teachings will provide an illumination of this fundamental area of thought. In a certain sense, since Cosmic Energetics is based on these laws, the continuing development and spreading of the method facilitates an acceleration of man's evolution, even though the practitioners' primary objectives may be to liberate people from various spiritual and physical complaints.

It has been accepted for some time that man is not only a physical body but also a certain energy-information manifestation. The Kirlian school focused in this area and developed innovative tools and techniques which led to many important findings. The latest scientific publications of K.G. Korotkov provide further support for the findings. His method of gas-dischargeable visualization of objects (GDV) is being applied in a variety of fields. In medicine, it serves for monitoring of the state of health; in psychophysiology, it is used to obtain measurements which support quantitative definition of stress levels and of psychofunctional preparedness for fulfillment of sophisticated professional activity; and it is also employed in investigations of consciousness as well as of the energetic properties of liquids and solid materials.

The preponderance of scientific studies and publications provide reliable evidence that the state of a person's physical body is entirely dependent upon the state of the energetic fields of the person which, in its own turn, are determined by the spiritual, mental and emotional states of the person. An inadequate spiritual level, negative thoughts and unhealthy emotions of a person are the fundamental afflictions, and the existence of these afflictions will flow through the delicate matter of the physical body and attract from its surroundings similar sorts of negative energies. In this manner the energetic structure of a person (namely the aura, chakras and nadis: the energetic channels) undergoes a form of destruction. Since bioenergetic structures serve to transform vital energy, their destruction initiates a process of destruction on the physical level (involving organs and systems). However, the converse process also holds true: when they are strengthened and activated, the state of physical health improves.

This is not a new concept, and it has been commonly accepted understood by many spiritual and healing practioners. The ideas were used, for example, in reflex therapy (including acupuncture, which dates back to Chinese demotic medicine nearly 5000 years ago) which is the method of mechanically manipulating the peripheral energetic centers (chakras).

In recent times this method was considered nontraditional in Russia and was not acknowledged by the official medical establishment. The method of Cosmic Energetics is based on scientific theory and practical applications, and because it teaches the activation and employment of channels of energo-informational flows (EIFs), it influences all of the bioenergoinformational components of a person. The energies of these flows have a multi-faceted effect upon human beings, and they can clear people of negative psychic energies which have accumulated in various layers of their psychic space. Thus, they can give rise to new a world outlook and spiritual growth, help people to better appreciate their place in life, their relationships with other people and the surrounding world, and give them strength to overcome the destructive parts of their personality. As a result, negative energies that reside within tissues and cells are transformed into positive ones. Consequently, rejuvenation of the whole organism takes place.

This process can be traced with the help of K.G. Korotkov's GDV device, an apparatus known as the "Aura-Camera-6000" which is used on a large scale in the West as well as in Russia, and with the help of the data generated by the medical surveys taken before and after treatment in the methods of Cosmic Energetics. A comprehensive approach to a person is the feature that distinguishes the method of Cosmic Energetics from other so-called traditional methods of treatment (such as official medicine, reflex therapy, biotherapy, physiotherapy, and others), in which efforts are made to solve the problem locally; as a result, only temporary and superficial effects on health are achieved. The Cosmic Energetic method involves treatment on the causative level. The superiority of its healing powers are one of the distinguishing characteristics of Cosmic Energetics. For the beginning practitioner, a cleansing of one's consciousness and achievement of an acceptable level of psychic and physical health are required, and until this has been demonstrated the apprentice will be not be permitted to engage in the practice. The ability to employ psychic energies should never be used with a malicious or evil intent.

To understand Cosmic Energetics is to understand a person as a bioenergoinformational substance. As such, a person is composed of a combination of two sorts of material: physical and spiritual. It is impossible and inappropriate to dissociate one from another. Diseases occur through displacement of psychic energy and improper distribution. This disturbance of psychic energy flow happens when energy cannot manifest itself, and when it is displaced, blocked, or improperly charged, the psychic energy finds a compromise which the person experiences as a symptom. That is why a disease is in actuality a consequence of inner conflicts that are very often misunderstood or unknown to the patient. More often than not, this response of the organism (that is, the manifestation of the symptom), aimed at the preservation of the order within the person's system, is the appropriate response to the situation of energy displacement. When one is trying to cure the system of the undesirable symptoms, there should be some consideration regarding what the order of the system will become. That is why the primary concern of the Cosmic Energetics method is not simply the elimination of a disease's symptom, but the comprehensive understanding of the root causes of the problem with regard to energy distribution, and the cleansing of consciousness to enable healthy distribution. In some cases one needs a prolonged therapy in the process of which, under constant impact, the psychic field is transformed and a mechanical purification of the Plutonian layers take place. Such inner transformations are followed by transformation of intellectual stereotypes, revaluation of oneself, one's cultural and other values, and by abatement of fears. As a consequence, these changes are reflected on a physical level and a stabilization of character. Even in those cases in which a prolonged therapy does not lead to the complete curing of the disease, it is always possible to see the tendency of cessation of the disease's development, lessening of disease's symptoms, growth of immunity, and - what is most important - stabilization of the psycho-emotional state.

That is why it is recommended for all those who want to learn the method to undergo purificational seances for the purpose of cleansing the consciousness prior to receiving the training. After that, the disciple will activate and implement cosmic channels for further development. In the process of cleansing and expanding of consciousness, it is important to rid oneself of negative energies, aggression, malice, and envy. After psychic and physical purification, super capabilities will arise, and they will be the true reflection of a high spiritual level and clear consciousness.
